About Dr. Barbierri
As someone who believes strongly in the ways psychotherapy can help both children and adults to experience emotional and/or behavioral success in school, work, within their family, and in their relationships, I commit myself fully to my patients at all times and advocate for their well being to the best of my ability.

- ADD/ADHD and other behavioral disorders in children and adolescents
- Developmental disabilities in young children, including Autistic Spectrum Disorders

I
completed my undergraduate education at St. Lawrence University in
upstate New York and my graduate school doctoral training at George
Washington University in Washington, D.C. I have experience working in
residential treatment facilities for children, therapeutic day schools,
a charter school system, and within the juvenile justice system with
adolescent offenders. I completed both my pre-doctoral and
post-doctoral training at the Child Guidance Center of Southern Connecticut,
Inc. in Stamford. I currently hold a license to practice psychology in
the state of Connecticut.
